How It Works
Understand what is happening. Measure what matters. Know what to develop next.
Emotional intelligence influences how you understand yourself, communicate, build relationships, make decisions, and respond under pressure. The value of assessment is not simply receiving a score. It is gaining a clearer view of the patterns behind your effectiveness, and knowing where focused development can make the greatest difference.
At dryesim.com, validated assessments are combined with expert interpretation and practical development planning. The goal is not to label you. It is to give you useful information you can act on.
Start with what you can measure
Emotional intelligence is a set of emotional and social skills that shape how you understand yourself, express yourself, connect with other people, make decisions, and manage stress.
These skills can be measured and developed. That is what makes assessment useful.
A number on its own changes very little. A well-interpreted assessment can help you identify strengths, recognize patterns that may be limiting your effectiveness, and focus your development on the areas that matter most.
The process
1. Choose and purchase your assessment
The EQ-i 2.0, EQ 360, and CSI 2 individual assessments can be purchased directly from the store. If you are not sure which fits your goal, book a free consultation first.
2. Receive your secure link
Within one business day of purchase, you receive a secure link from the MHS platform. You complete the assessment privately, on your own time. The EQ-i 2.0 takes about 20 minutes; the CSI 2 about 10. For the EQ 360, Dr. Yesim first contacts you to set up your rater groups.
3. Debrief with Dr. Yesim
Schedule your debrief using the booking link in your confirmation email. This is where the assessment becomes useful: you review the results together, connect them to your work and leadership context, and separate the patterns that matter from the ones that don't.
The report is the beginning of the conversation, not the end of it.
4. Leave with a focused development plan
A clear understanding of your strengths, potential blind spots, and the two or three priorities most worth your attention. Where useful, those become concrete, measurable goals.
What you should walk away knowing
- Which emotional intelligence strengths am I already using effectively?
- Which patterns may be limiting my leadership or performance?
- Where is there an important gap between how I see myself and how others experience me?
- Which two or three competencies should I work on first?
- What can I do differently in practice?
- How can I track progress over time?
Why you can trust the process
The EQ-i 2.0 and EQ 360, published by MHS, are scientifically developed assessment instruments used to measure emotional intelligence.
Benchmarked results. Your scores are compared with a norm group, giving you a meaningful reference point rather than a vague standard.
Established psychometric foundations. The instruments are designed with reliability and validity in mind, so interpretation is grounded in a structured measurement framework rather than an informal personality quiz.
Certified administration and interpretation. The EQ-i 2.0 and EQ 360 are restricted instruments that require practitioner certification. Dr. Yesim is certified to administer and interpret the EQ-i 2.0, EQ 360, and CSI 2.
Interpretation in context. A score never tells the whole story. Your role, responsibilities, environment, goals, and current challenges matter. The debrief connects the assessment to your real context so the results become practical rather than abstract.
